Children’s Product Certificates / General Conformity Certificates
The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA) or HR 4040 bill was signed by the US President on August 14th, 2008, to ensure the safety of consumer products imported to the United States. Section 102 of the CPSIA is requiring a Certificate of Conformity, "Children's Product Certificate", or "General Conformity Certificate" which certifies that all children's products and certain types of non-children's products comply with all applicable CPSC rules and standards. This will apply to all goods manufactured on or after February 10, 2010.
Enesco has developed an electronic filing system for these certificates. This website will enable our customers to quickly and effectively search for a certificate using the item number. Multiple certificates may be on file for one item as a certificate is needed for each shipment. Please remember that certificates are only available for those products that are considered to be toys or children's products, and certain types of non-children's products.
